Kim Min-jae's red card reshapes Bayern's Champions League night

South Korean defender Kim Min-jae sparked a moment of controversy with a reckless challenge against Union Saint-Gilloise at the Allianz Arena, in the seventh group-stage game of the Champions League.

In the 63rd minute, Kim picked up a second yellow card for tripping a Saint-Gilloise attacker on the brink of a Bayern break, earning a red and leaving Bayern with a hurdle to overcome.

He left the pitch with a look of disbelief as Bayern led 2-0, courtesy of two Harry Kane penalties that arrived earlier in the game.

The first half finished goalless, before Kane's early second-half goals extended Bayern's advantage to 2-0, while Bayern's defense held firm after the dismissal.
