Red Knights Strike: Ahly secure Marwan Osman on loan from Ceramica Cleopatra
18 January 2026
Deal details
Al Ahly have sealed the loan signing of Marwan Osman, Ceramica Cleopatra's forward, until the end of the current season.
A source at Ceramica Cleopatra told Kooora that Osman has become an Ahly player after agreeing to a loan with a view to a possible permanent transfer.
The deal was completed with the loan of Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid from Ahly to Ceramica, with the intention of a permanent sale.
Another player will also join on loan from Ahly to Ceramica, possibly Mohamed Abdullah or Omar Said Muawad.
Ahly did not offer a buy-back of Ahmed Ramadan Beckham as some had claimed, and Ceramica would welcome his return if the Reds show interest.
Marwan Osman becomes Ahly's third winter signing after Moroccan Yousef Belamri, Raja Casablanca's left-back, and Amr El-Gazar, a defender from Al Ahly.
Punchline time: This loan is tighter than a goalkeeper's gloves. If it sticks, Ahly will be laughing all the way to the trophy cabinet.
