Matchweek Update
Today the Premier League announced the winner of Round 17’s Player of the Week for the Premier League.
Morgan Rogers, Aston Villa midfielder, clinched the award by a fans’ vote.

He has been delivering standout performances and is the first Villa player to score two or more goals in two consecutive league games since Dion Dublin in 1998.
Rogers edged Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Leeds United forward, by a slim margin of 2% in votes, 29% to 27%.
Erling Haaland, Manchester City forward, finished third with 19%, followed by Reece James of Chelsea at 12%, Nick Foltamide of Newcastle at 5%, Kenny Botter of Brentford at 4%, Dan Ballard of Sunderland at 2%, and Anton Staak of Leeds at 2%.
