Ronaldo under fire: the latest Saudi Pro League critique that has fans laughing

Ronaldo underperforming in the Roshen League
Former Saudi football star Sultan Al-Lihani has criticized Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward at Al Nassr, for his performances in the last five Roshen League rounds, labeling him among the weakest players.
Ronaldo failed to score as Al Nassr beat Al Shabab 3-2 yesterday, at the club's stadium, in round sixteen.
Al-Lihani said on the show Dawerna Gheer that Ronaldo shone in the prior ten rounds with goals, but the last five hurt him.
He noted Ronaldo was out of position, touched the ball in the box only once by minute 80.
He added most of Ronaldo’s decisions were wrong and his positioning off, leaving gaps in the system and undermining the team’s attacking options as a pure striker.
Al-Lihani said Ronaldo needed quicker choices and more options, something not seen in the last five games, with Ronaldo among the least fit.
He continued that Ronaldo had more than one opportunity that could have finished with a touch, but his mind lingered.
The pundit added the issue goes beyond goals: such errors become counterattacks that destabilize the defence when the ball is cut in the final third.
He wrapped up by revealing why Ronaldo has not been substituted: there is no better option in this role.
Punchline: Ronaldo's finish timer must be on standby—it's always just missing.
Punchline 2: Maybe Ronaldo needs a compass; the ball keeps taking detours to the defense.
