Egyptian star Mohamed Salah matched Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher's long-standing record during tonight's clash with Qarabağ FK at Anfield, in the final group-stage round of the UEFA Champions League.

According to Opta, Salah is making his 80th Champions League appearance for Liverpool, tying Carragher's club record on a day that also marks the defender's 48th birthday.
