Mohamed Salah extended his international appearances for Egypt by earning his 115th cap against Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations third place match.
He now sits seventh on Egypt's all time list, overtaking Wael Gomaa's 114 caps, according to Stats Foot, the French data site.
The leaders remain Ahmed Hassan with 184 caps, followed by Hossam Hassan at 177, Essam El Hadary at 159, Ahmed Fathi at 135 and Ibrahim Hassan at 131.
