Saudi Football Maestro Reaches New Milestone in Arab Cup Showdown
5 December 2025
Match Day Highlights
Firas Al-Breikan, forward for Al-Ahli and Saudi Arabia, marked a notable milestone with the Green after starting against Comoros on Friday, in the Arabs Cup 2025 group stage in Qatar tonight as well.
Al-Breikan has been one of Saudi Arabia's key weapons for years, since the start of his international career for the national team in 2019.
The Saudi coaching staff, led by Frenchman Rodriguez, with Hervé Renard's assistant, announced the Green's lineup against Comoros, featuring Al-Breikan for a second straight match, bringing his international appearances to 63.
And with this tally, Al-Breikan joined legends Abdulatif Atif and Khaled Aziz in Saudi football's most-capped list, behind Mohammed Al-Deai, the former Al-Hilal stopper and true icon.
The Maestro, as fans call him, had scored Saudi Arabia's opener in the victory over Oman, with a 2-1 win, during the first matchday of Group B in the Arab Cup.
It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia needs a win to guarantee progression to the quarterfinals, with no calculations needed, especially after Morocco's draw with Oman.
Punchline: If goals were notes, his symphony just hit a perfect pitch.
Final jab: Scouts will tell you his GPS is set to "net".
