Darwin Núñez’s Future with Al Hilal on the Line
Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez has decided his future with Al Hilal, as his role slipped under Italian coach Simone Inzaghi.
Although Inzaghi pushed to sign Núñez at the start of the season, the forward’s inconsistent form and wasted chances led to his exclusion from the domestic squad after the January arrival of Frenchman Karim Benzema.

According to the Saudi daily Al-Youm, Núñez has decided to leave Al Hilal at the end of the current season, following Inzaghi’s omission from the local list.
The report adds that Núñez hoped for more opportunities in the second half of his second season, but Inzaghi’s decision thwarted that plan, prompting a summer exit.
It is pointed out that the English Premier League is the closest destination for the star, with several informal offers circulating. Núñez has appeared in 24 matches across all competitions for Al Hilal, scoring 9 goals and delivering 5 assists.
