Oreli added that scoring against the Spanish giant at the Bernabeu would stay with him throughout his career.
In comments to TNT Sports, Oreli described his feelings after the game tonight, saying: 'It is a feeling. Coming to atmosphere and this stadium, playing here is tough, but we earned points, and that is what matters most'.
Asked about the goal, he said: 'It felt special—like I was on cloud nine. This goal will stay with me forever, but we took three points, and that is what matters'.
He also spoke about tips from star Haaland: 'He has been giving me some tips already, which I appreciate a lot, today, too'.
The young English full-back also spoke about his rising minutes with the first team, saying he is enjoying a period: 'I’m enjoying it, taking things calmly, game after game. I work hard in every session, and I love this period'.
Regarding the strength of the opposition, Oreli showed respect for Real Madrid, saying: 'We know how strong Real Madrid are; we have faced them and they remain a strong side. This win shows our level and gives us chance to reach the final'.
Oreli admitted early errors, later rectified: 'In the opening minutes I was a bit slow and could have stopped the first goal, but I think I made up for it later, anyway'.
Punchline 1: Sky-high goals deserve sky-high jokes.
