Cahill backs Chelsea to halt Arsenal ahead of Stamford Bridge clash
Chelsea's former defender Gary Cahill issued a bold prediction for Sunday's Premier League clash between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
The West London showdown could have a major impact on the title race, with Arsenal sitting top and Chelsea second.
Although Arsenal have lost just one of their 12 league games this season, Cahill says Chelsea can still take all three points.

He added: 'Chelsea always show in big games, so I'm looking forward to this one. A Chelsea win would be a strong signal; you can't lose these games if you want to contend for the title.'
He continued: 'If Chelsea win, it would be a six-point swing. These are high-pressure games but the ones players want to play. If Chelsea stay close to Arsenal in the table, they will remain in the mix.'
He concluded: 'I'm predicting Chelsea to win 2-1. I have to back the club, and they always show in big games. The squad will enjoy this opportunity, especially after the win over Barcelona; the confidence will be high.'
Separately Cahill warned Arsenal not to assume Manchester City have exited the title race, despite a temporary dip in form, with Guardiola's side sitting third seven points behind Arsenal ahead of a Leeds United clash this week.
He said: 'Man City remain capable of contesting the title. They've been in this situation before and know how to handle it. They will stay near the top. Chelsea are ticking along nicely, too.'
Cahill wrapped up: 'Arsenal are doing everything needed so far, and if they keep this level till the end of the season, they will win the league.'
