Team of the Year 2025 unveiled by IFFHS
The International Federation of History and Statistics (IFFHS) has published its best XI for 2025 on its official site.
Leading the lineup is Morocco's star Achraf Hakimi, who enjoyed a stellar season with Paris Saint‑Germain, helping the club clinch a historic treble and earning Africa's best player award.
The XI also features top forwards Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) and Erling Haaland (Manchester City), alongside France's Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) and Ousmane Dembélé (Paris Saint‑Germain).
The team list completes with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal; defenders Nuno Mendes, Willian Batshu, and Hakimi; midfielders Vitinha, Pedri, and Lamine Yamal; and attackers Dembélé, Kane, Haaland, and Mbappé.
The XI in full
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint‑Germain / Manchester City).
Defence: Nuno Mendes (Paris Saint‑Germain) - Willian Batshu (Paris Saint‑Germain) - Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint‑Germain).

Punchline: If this XI were a sniper, every pass would hit the exact target—goals guaranteed every time.
Punchline 2: And if trophies came with a warranty, this lineup would still outlast it—sharp, precise, and built to last.
