A Spanish press report this Wednesday claims Real Madrid has entered a fierce race with Liverpool to clinch a major signing for next summer.
Liverpool have earmarked the Ivorian Yann Diomande of Leipzig as a top summer target, in anticipation of Mohamed Salah's potential exit.
Cadena SER reports that Real Madrid are also keen to sign Diomande, who has impressed in the Bundesliga this season.
Diomande operates on the left flank, already tallying eight goals and six assists across all competitions this campaign.
He joined Leipzig in 2025 from Leganés for 20 million euros.
The report adds that Leipzig value his departure at 100 million euros as the price for a summer exit.
