Uncertainty dominates the Catalan camp!
Manchester United have set their sights on signing one of Barcelona's stars, amid persistent talk of a potential move that could see Marcus Rashford ink a permanent deal with the Spanish giants.
Rashford joined Barcelona on loan from Manchester United for one season, with a buy option in the summer, and a potential renewal.
According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, 'to make the deal permanent, Barcelona must simply exercise the purchase option, rumored to be 30 million euros (about £26.2m) to sign Rashford, if the numbers align.
The newspaper claims it's highly likely the Englishman will stay at Camp Nou beyond this season, after impressing everyone with his form, scoring 10 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions, and boosting confidence.
But Rashford's Barcelona teammate could be heading the other way, as Manchester United reportedly show interest in signing left-back Alejandro Balde this summer.
The Red Devils have made landing a new left-back one of their top transfer priorities.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are reluctant to sell Balde, considering him a core part of their long-term plans.
Balde first broke into Barcelona's side in September 2021 before earning a more prominent role under former coach Xavi Hernandez in 2022-23.
The 22-year-old, whose contract runs at Barcelona until 2028, played 47 games last season and 34 this season under coach Hans Flick.
