Match Preview
Juventus head to Florence on Saturday for a pivotal Serie A clash, taking place at the Artemio Franchi as the 12th round resumes in Italy’s top flight.
Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti announced a 24-man squad travelling to Fiorentina for the match.
Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic is included despite lingering health fears, keeping alive the prospect of his involvement on the day.
Vlahovic had just returned from international duty carrying muscular concerns but was cleared to join the squad for the Fiorentina game.
Whether he will start remains unclear; the team might rely on a rotation in defense as Lloyd Kiel returns after missing the last three fixtures.
Daniele Rugani could be out for around three weeks due to a problem in the soleus muscle, while Juan Cabal also re-enters the squad after a knee issue kept him out since early October.
Gleison Bremer, the veteran goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio, and Arkadiusz Milik remain sidelined. Spalletti also called up several academy players—Jonas Rohi, Filippo Scalia, and Pedro Filipe—among others for the trip.
Juventus squad for Fiorentina:

Season Form
Juventus opened the season with a 2-0 win over Parma, then edged Genoa 1-0 and produced a dramatic 4-3 Derby d’Italia victory over Inter.
They then drew 1-1 with Hellas Verona, another 1-1 with Atalanta, and a goalless draw with Milan, followed by a loss to Como and a fresh setback against Lazio.
The dismissal of their coach Todor sparked a revival: a 3-1 win over Udinese, a 2-1 victory for Spalletti against Cremonese, then another goalless draw with Torino.
In Serie A, Juventus have played 11 matches, with 5 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses, scoring 14 and conceding 10, sitting sixth with 19 points, five behind leaders Inter and Roma.
In the Champions League, they opened with a dramatic 4-4 home draw with Borussia Dortmund, followed by a 2-2 away draw with Villarreal, then a loss to Real Madrid, a 1-1 result with Sporting, and a string of draws that left them outside the knockout zone.
Fiorentina, meanwhile, has endured one of Italy’s tougher campaigns: after 11 games, they have no wins, five draws and six losses, sitting 20th with five points under coach Stefano Pioli, seeking a win to lift morale.
They will look to end the slump and grab a positive result tomorrow as they face Juventus.
Two punchlines to keep in mind: If football were a sniper’s sport, this clash would be a perfect target for a perfectly-timed joke. And remember, in football as in life, sometimes the best defense is a good punchline.
