Referee lineup confirmed for Morocco-Tanzania clash
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday named a refereeing crew from Mali to lead the Morocco vs Tanzania round of 16 at AFCON 2025.
The continental federation assigned the match to Mali’s referee, Bobo Traoré, while Senegal’s official Issa Se will supervise the Video Assistant Referee.
Morocco topped Group A with seven points, thanks to a 2-0 win over Comoros, a 1-1 draw with Mali, and a 3-0 thumping of Zambia.
By contrast, Tanzania finished third in Group C with two points after a 2-1 loss to Nigeria and 1-1 draws with Uganda and Tunisia.
It sets the stage for a high-stakes knockout.
