Haider Abdul Karim Targets Al-Nassr Move
Haider Abdul Karim, the Iraqi midfielder for Al-Zawraa, is pressing the club’s management to approve his departure to Al-Nassr in the winter transfer window.
Kooora reports the player has received two official offers from Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq to join in this winter window.
If the deal is completed, the 21-year-old would be registered as a birth-right player for Al-Nassr.
According to sources at Al-Zawraa, Abdul Karim even offered to waive part of his financial dues to secure his move.
He plays as a defensive midfielder and features for Iraq’s Olympic team.
Meanwhile, Al-Zawraa is close to sealing a deal with Egyptian defender Mustafa Muawad from Al-Wahdat in Jordan to bolster the back line.
Zawraa had already signed Colombian forward Bryan Raskus, 31, after his contract with Pakhtakor.
Raskus has previously played for Saudi Gulf, Qingdao in China, Marítimo in Portugal, and Grasshopper in Switzerland.
Punchline 1: If this move sails through, Haider’s agent might need a bigger calendar—window by window, here we come.
Punchline 2: And if it stalls, fear not—the transfer rumor mill never takes coffee breaks.
