Paris braces for AFCON final as real danger prompts swift security moves

Paris police impose a strict ban on fan gatherings ahead of the AFCON final between Morocco and Senegal. Authorities cite a real danger of disturbances and will bar celebrations within a wide perimeter from the Louvre to Porte Maillot. Fireworks and flammable materials are prohibited. Measures run from Sunday evening to early Monday morning as officials try to keep the event peaceful. The final is expected to draw large crowds, with security agencies on alert.
