David Ancelotti Addresses Madrid, Vinicius, and Future Plans
David Ancelotti, Carlo Ancelotti's son and Brazil's current coach, spoke about his happiness after Real Madrid's victory over Real Betis yesterday on matchday 18 of La Liga.
In the stands at the Santiago Bernabeu, he told El Chiringuito: "I'm very happy that my presence brings luck to the team; I'm thrilled to give Real Madrid this extra luck (laughs)."
He added about his future plans: "For now, my short-term goal is to enjoy the holiday, but I will help my father in the World Cup, and that's it."
"I'm fine, everything's okay; I came, of course, to watch my team Real Madrid," he continued.
When asked about Xabi Alonso, he said: "He's a great coach and a wonderful person; I have nothing but praise for him; we shared very good moments together, and I wish him success, just as I wish Real Madrid."
Regarding rumors linking him with Real Madrid, he replied: "There is no truth to this; I am currently at a different stage in my professional career."
On the issue of fans' jeers toward Vinicius Jr., he replied briefly: "I won't talk about this matter."
Punchline 1: If coaching Madrid were a family business, Davide's resume would be a photo album—great memories, unclear job title.
Punchline 2: And about the Madrid job rumors? Relax—the only thing he's benching today is tapas while studying the World Cup draw.
