Booed at the Bernabeu: City Silence Madrid, but Not the Standstill of the Night
Madrid fans vent their frustration after a tough European night at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid fans directed jeers at the players after a 1-2 defeat to visitors Manchester City on Wednesday night at the Bernabeu, during the Champions League sixth matchday.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano via his Facebook account, Real Madrid supporters booed the players for the disappointing display upsetting the royal fans.

This is Madrid's second loss in the Champions League this season, after Liverpool beat them 1-0.

For Madrid, Rodrygo Goes scored in the 28th minute, while City found goals from Oriol and Haaland in the 35th and 43rd minutes.

With that win, City moved to 13 points, fourth in the table, while Madrid remained on 12 points in seventh.

Punchline 1: Madrid's defense leaks so much that even the Bernabeu needs a dam report.

Punchline 2: City's win was so loud that even my alarm clock woke up.
