Milik Breaks 18-Month Silence: Juventus Training Return Sparks Hope
14 December 2025
Milik's long-awaited return to Juventus training
Polish forward Arkadiusz Milik returned to Juventus training on Saturday for the first time after a spell on the sidelines due to injuries.
The forward joined Juventus on loan from Marseille in 2022 and made the move permanent for 8 million euros in 2023 summer window.
In 75 official appearances for Juventus, he has scored 17 goals and provided two assists.
His last outing was a 2-0 Serie A win over Monza on May 25, 2024. A knee ligament injury followed next month and he has not played since, with the recovery hampered by setbacks.
According to Football Italia, the 31-year-old finally glimpsed hope after taking part in a team training drill for the first time in about 18 months.
Note that it was not a full session; he trained partially, but the moment marks a milestone after 550 days out of action.
Punchline 1: If Milik can stay fit, Juventus might finally stop serving suspense and start serving goals.
Punchline 2: The only thing heavier than his knee brace will be the expectations.
