Coaching Update
Al-Akedud club announced this evening it mutually terminated the contract of Portuguese coach Paulo Sergio.
The Saudi side confirmed the move on X, saying the departure was by mutual agreement.
Al-Akedud currently sit second from bottom in the Saudi Pro League with five points.
Next Steps
Sergio had taken charge on February 28, last year, with a contract running until summer 2026.
The club said Romanian Marius Sumudica will replace him as head coach.
