Deal In Progress: Hamid Hamdan's Future With Pyramids Remains Uncertain
A reliable source within Pyramids FC responded to rumors of an official signing of Palestinian midfielder Hamid Hamdan from Petrojet.
A club official told the publication that talks are ongoing to sign the player, but the deal has not been finalized as rumored.
He added that the team has a training break until next Monday before entering a closed camp in the UAE, and there is no truth to him reporting to training tomorrow.
Past Ties and Possible Paths Ahead
He confirmed that the deal is still in negotiation and not officially completed.
Hamid Hamdan previously played for Pyramids in 2018 after joining from Al Ahly, before moving to several clubs in the second division.
Recently, Zamalek was close to signing the player in the last summer window, but negotiations stalled between the two clubs.
There was reportedly an agreement between Zamalek and Petrojet for the player to move to the White team in the winter transfer window, but financial difficulties and a transfer ban on Zamalek halted the negotiations.
The storyline remains fluid, and fans will have to wait a bit longer to see where Hamdan lands.
PUNCHLINES: If transfer rumors were bullets, this window would be fully loaded. And if patience were a footballer, we'd already be champions with Hamdan in tow.
