Spain and Egypt Prepare for World Cup with Qatar Friendly
Spain and Egypt set for a March friendly in Qatar.

Match details

Spain officially announced a March friendly against Egypt in Qatar as part of World Cup preparations. The match is scheduled for March 30 at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, with a 6:00 pm Cairo time kickoff.

The last Egypt–Spain meeting was on June 3, 2006, when La Roja won 2-0 through Raul Gonzalez and Jose Antonio Reyes.

Spain will face Argentina three days later in the Finalissima at Lusail Stadium, while Egypt will also play Saudi Arabia during the same international window.

Notes

That’s the plan for now; schedules can be as fickle as a midfield pivot, but the hype is real.

Pew! Spain's defense is so tight, even my Wi‑Fi slows down trying to cross it.

If this friendly had a sniper, it would be quick, precise and probably in perfect position for a late snack break.
