Transfer Talk Surrounding Abu Al-Shamat
Mohammad Abu Al-Shamat, the right-back for Al-Qadsiah, addressed reports linking him with a move to Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad during the current winter transfer window.
Several outlets reported Al-Hilal contacted Al-Qadsiah to discuss a potential sale in the winter market, while other reports linked him to Al-Ittihad.
In a post-match interview with the Saudi daily Al-Yaum after the game, Abu Al-Shamat said that first of all he is at a big club and that he respects Al-Qadsiah, so he cannot comment on rumors about joining other clubs.
He added that it is an honor to have his name linked with these clubs, but he is also at a big club and happy to be at Al-Qadsiah.
He concluded that whatever is best for him will happen in the end; he is focused on the pitch, and whatever Al-Qadsiah sees as suitable, he is at their service there.
Abu Al-Shamat is considered one of the league's top right-backs, having appeared 17 times for Al-Qadsiah this season, with three assists.
