According to Marca, at the age of 41, Sneijder will join OS M'75, a Dutch fourth-division club coached by Rodney Sneijder, his brother. The move has fans buzzing as much as it raises eyebrows about what comes next for the veteran playmaker.

More than 1,000 supporters flocked to watch his return to the field. The match against Fox 07 concluded in a tight 1-0 win, with Sneijder entering the pitch in the 70th minute.
Talking to ESPN, Sneijder said, "I wouldn’t have done this at any other club. I’m here with my family." He added, "With you or without you, I enjoyed the game just the same."
The game drew media attention, but Sneijder appeared unfazed by the spotlight, quipping that he was just happy to play the game with or without cameras trained on him.

The club celebrated Sneijder’s arrival as a prestigious honor, with board member Alexander de Mol noting that Sneijder deserved the Ballon d’Or in 2010, a title he believes was unjustly taken from him.
On the bench, the coach even teased about time management: "If he wants to be a regular starter, he’ll need to pause his TV work and train with the squad at least once; that’s the condition."
