European Club Sets Robin Neves as a Priority Target
Al Hilal is reportedly ready to sell Robin Neves rather than let him depart for free this summer.
Turkish outlet Fotomaç reported on Wednesday that Galatasaray has moved to sign Neves, whose contract runs until the end of June.
The Istanbul club is said to be unsettled in the pivot position, prompting a plan to pursue Neves at the top of its shopping list, with formal talks expected next week.
Galatasaray hopes to exploit Al Hilal's desire to cash in during the winter window to avoid a summer loss on a free transfer.
Neves joined Al Hilal in 2023 from Wolverhampton Wanderers and has helped the Riyadh club win four trophies and reach the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals in 2025.
Punchline: Sniper joke — if the move happens, Neves will be putting the ball in the net with such precision that even the calendar will approve the deadline.
Punchline: And if the deal stalls, well, at least the coffee in the dressing room will stay hot while the paperwork cools on the sidelines.
