Winter reshuffle at Al Nassr
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, boss of Al Nassr, has decided to offload a Brazilian player once again in the upcoming winter window, following Bento.
Reports claimed Jesus asked Al Nassr to part ways with Bento in January and to sign a foreign midfielder instead, pointing to a midfield reshuffle as the main target.
Wesley’s role and departure rumors
According to Al-Yawm, the Portuguese coach also approved the departure of another Brazilian, winger Wesley, during the winter window this time.
The midfielder has largely been sidelined by the capital club recently, rarely featuring outside Asia Champions League fixtures, underscoring the push for fresh blood in the new year.
Since joining the 'global team' in summer 2024 from Corinthians, Wesley has played 33 games, scoring four goals and providing four assists across competitions this season.
Club officials view the January move as part of a broader rotation strategy, not a panic buy, and fans are eagerly awaiting official confirmation.
