Al Ahly and RB Leipzig Plan a Joint Future in Youth Development
A delegation from Al Ahly travelled to Germany, led by Engineer Khaled Mortagy, the club's treasurer, and Nira Ali, executive director of the football company, to visit RB Leipzig's headquarters and explore future cooperation.
In a statement, Al Ahly said the Red Devils will meet Leipzig leaders to boost cooperation in youth development, coaching, talent sponsorship, and skill enhancement.
The club's statement added that the visit reflects a mutual desire to define a joint framework for shared goals and to open new horizons with leading football institutions.
A source within Al Ahly told KOOORA that the primary aim is cooperation to develop the youth sector and to sign commercial agreements between the two clubs.
The discussions will cover inviting Al Ahly youth coaches to the German club for a period of immersion and broader academy collaboration.
Punchline 1: If this partnership scores as much as it reads, the scoreboard will need a promotion for extra digits.
Punchline 2: And if the academy plan works, the only thing louder than the crowd might be the espresso machine at the training ground.
