The Saudi Pro League's governing body announced on Thursday the formal postponement of Round 10 fixtures in the 2025-2026 season.
The postponement follows Saudi Arabia's advancement to the Arab Cup semi-finals after a hard-fought 2-1 quarter-final victory over Palestine.
Round 10 matches will now be played between February 22 and 25, 2026, instead of the previous window from December 19 to 21.
Cup Semis Re-scheduled
Additionally, the Saudi Football Association's competitions committee moved the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup semi-finals to March 16-17, shifting away from the original dates of February 23-24.
The national team had booked a spot in the Arab Cup semi-finals following a 2-1 win over Palestine, with goals from Firas Al-Breikan and Mohammed Kanoo, keeping the Green's run strong in the tournament.
Punchline 1: If calendars played football, they'd be offsides every week—always a bit late to the kickoff.
Punchline 2: And if the ball had a calendar, it would strike a deal with the referee: 'trust me, I'm here for the long run.'
