Ittihad Jeddah keeps its star: Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud signs extension through 2027

Contract extension for Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud
Al-Ittihad, the Saudi club from Jeddah, announced on Thursday that Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud has extended his contract through 2027.
The club stated on X that Al-Aboud has renewed for another season after agreeing on all financial and contractual details of the deal.
In a club video, the international winger wears the club shirt and the caption reads Our union is one, while the video title proclaims Lovers never change who they love.
Al-Aboud had previously extended his contract in October 2022 for three years, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2026.
He has appeared in 151 matches for Al-Ittihad across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 22 assists.
He is currently with the Saudi national team participating in the Arab Cup in Qatar.
Two light-hearted notes to close: when your contract is this long, even your coffee breaks come with a clause; and if goals were stocks, Al-Aboud would be a blue-chip asset.
Punchline 1: If he keeps delivering, his agent may file a self renewal request with HR.
Punchline 2: With talent like that, even the trophy cabinet asks for a seat at the table.
