Surgery and Recovery
Yazan Al-Naimat, Jordan’s rising star, underwent a successful ACL surgery on Wednesday at Aspetar in Doha after tearing his ACL during the AFC Arab Cup 2025 quarterfinal against Iraq.
The procedure was supervised by one of the world’s leading ACL specialists and went smoothly.
He is now in an intensive rehabilitation program designed to have him ready for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which begins in June across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Al-Arabi, the club he represents in Qatar, backs his comeback as he targets a swift return to action for both club and country.
