United in the Hunt: Man Utd Chase Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Brown in January Raid
3 December 2025
Manchester United has joined Real Madrid and Barcelona in the race to sign left-back Nathaniel Brown, Eintracht Frankfurt's star, in the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to the Metro newspaper, Manchester United is entering the winter transfer market, hoping to build on the positive period the team has recently enjoyed, though its targets differ greatly from ambitions of clubs like Arsenal, Manchester City, and Chelsea, who are pursuing the title race.
Although the league battle remains distant for a side that finished last season in fifteenth place, the clear improvement since October has made European qualification a realistic goal.
Manchester United spent more than 200 million pounds last summer, signing three forwards: Bryan Mbome, Mathias Cunha, and Benjamin Sesko, along with goalkeeper Sini Lemins.
However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is not expected to authorize big January deals, but coach Ruben Amorim wants to strengthen the squad if a chance arises, along with offloading some unwanted players.
Brown, 22, has been watched multiple times this season by Real Madrid, and his market value is around 50 million pounds.
His attacking bursts and precise crosses are noted; he earned his first Germany cap in October last year, and is expected to be in Julian Nagelsmann's squad for the 2026 World Cup. Sniper joke: I aim for the net, not excuses. Transfer policy: if it ain't broke, aim again.
