Ajayi's Four-Month Experiment Ends: Al-Wehdat Part Ways with Nigerian Striker

Contract Termination
Al-Wehdat Jordanian Club formally terminated the contract of Nigerian striker Junior Ajayi after just four months.
The club announced in an official statement that the termination was mutual with the 29-year-old Nigerian.
Ajayi appeared for Al-Wehdat in six matches, scoring one goal, but failed to convince the coach or the fans.
Ajayi's Career Arc
Ajayi began his career with Nigerian side Rising Stars 36 Lions, then moved to Club Sfaxien in Tunisia in September 2015 before joining Al-Ahly of Egypt.
Ajayi helped Al-Ahly win the CAF Champions League and lifted the Egyptian Premier League title four times.
In 2022 the Nigerian joined Al-Nasr Libyan, later moving to Smouha in Egypt.
Ajayi returned to Libya's league with Al-Hilal before joining Al-Wehdat recently.
