Al Nassr lands a winter coup: Haider Abdul Karim signs from Iraq
Haider Abdul Karim, 21, joins Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League winter signing.

Iraq's Talent Goes Global

Al Nassr announced its first winter signing following a recommendation by coach Jorge Jesus.

Jesus wants a group of young players to compete for titles in coming seasons.

Al Nassr confirmed on its official X account the signing of Iraqi midfielder Haider Abdul Karim from Al-Zawraa for two and a half seasons.

Deal Details

A video posted by Al Nassr shows Haider speaking with Iraqi legend Nashat Akram, who said: Good luck, you’ve made the right choice; the world will know you.

The 21-year-old will wear the number 8 from the next period, and is set to be registered on the under-23 list.

If his passes stay on target, defenders will beg for his autograph.

And when he signs, the ball will finally get a passport.
