Al-Nassr's Defensive Gambit: Jesus targets two winter signings as title race tightens
Al Nassr eye winter signings as league title race heats up.

The Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, head coach of Al Nassr, expressed doubts about several players in the clubs squad, according to a Saudi report.

Jesus is not convinced by the abilities of four players: Salem Al Najdi, Nawaf Boshl, Sultan Al Ghannam, and Saad Al Nasir.

The network added that Jesus urged the clubs management to seal two winter deals in the right back and left back positions during the ongoing window.

Fans of Al Nassr are keenly awaiting new signings before the winter window closes on February 2.

Al Nassr recalled memories of victory with a hard fought 3-2 win over the Riyadh rival Al Shabab yesterday, in the 16th round of the Roshen Saudi Pro League.

That result lifts the team to 34 points, reclaiming second place in the Roshen Pro League, level on points with Al Ahli but ahead on goal difference and four points behind leaders Al Hilal.

The squad led by Jesus ended a four match run of poor results, drawing with Al Ettifaq 2-2 and losing to Al Ahli 2-3, Al Qadisiyah 1-2, and Al Hilal 1-3.

Defensive targets and a winter deadline

Punchline time, with a wink: If transfers were a sniper rifle, Jesus would already have two perfect targets locked in.

Punchline two: In this winter window, even the budget needs a precision sight—two backs, a smile, and a signed contract or two.
