Arsenal reach the FA Cup quarterfinals
Arsenal sealed their passage to the FA Cup quarterfinals with a 2-1 win at Mansfield on Saturday.
The match was goalless until the 41st minute when Noni Madueke fired Arsenal in front.
Mansfield levelled through Will Evans in the 50th minute.
Arsenal regain the lead and push through
Arsenal regained the lead in the 66th minute with a strike from Ezi.
Manager Mikel Arteta said the goals scored by his players answered critics who question the team's style of play.
Arsenal now sit on 101 goals in all competitions so far this season.
During the campaign, some rival fans complained about Arsenal's reliance on set-pieces, noting 36 goals came from such situations.
Arteta told TalkSPORT that scrutinising numbers to diminish Arsenal has become tedious, and that they may have scored more than 100 goals this season.
