Benzema’s Saudi Shuffle: Will He Jump From Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal Amid a Club Storm?

Benzema's Saudi future under shadow as Al-Ittihad faces internal turmoil
Mohammad Noor, a legend of Al-Ittihad, spoke at length about the club's troubled administration, especially after Benzema signaled he would withhold participation until a new contract could be agreed.
Benzema has stayed out after the 2-2 draw with Al-Fateh and later asked to be removed from the squad for the Stars match, in Round 20 of the Roshen Saudi Pro League.
On the Dawri Ghair show, Noor suggested Benzema is likely to leave Al-Ittihad around 89 percent, though he hoped the player would stay if there were no problems.
The current situation at the club is not good, with some local players stirring trouble around match participation and even threatening to walk away, mirroring Benzema's stance.
Noor added that such issues should not happen at a club the size of Al-Ittihad, noting that fans sometimes blamed management for Benzema's case, while the investment fund was the real negotiator with the player.
He also argued that if Benzema joined Al-Hilal, the player could help win a league title, the King’s Cup, and Asia's elite honors, and contend for the top scorer award.
Noor concluded that all titles Al-Hilal pursues would be within reach with Benzema.
Punchline: If contracts had finish lines, Benzema would sprint past them with a smile.
Punchline: The transfer market swallows rumors whole, but Benzema would swallow a trophy instead.
