Casemiro's Next Move After Manchester United Exit
The Brazilian star Casemiro is weighing his next destination after officially leaving Manchester United last Thursday.
He joined United from Real Madrid in 2022 for £70 million and has appeared 146 times, scoring 21 goals for the Red Devils.
He is currently focused on finishing the season strong to help the club qualify for the UEFA Champions League, ahead of Brazil's participation in the 2026 World Cup.
Daily Mail reports that United executives know Casemiro, aged 33, has a provisional agreement with his prospective new club.
According to the report, after the club chose not to exercise an extension option, the player requested an early public announcement to clarify his future and assist with planning, as interest grows from MLS, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil.
The Daily Mail did not identify the specific Saudi or Brazilian clubs interested, but noted interest from Los Angeles FC.
ESPN also says Casemiro is keen to continue playing in one of Europe’s five major leagues next season, having previously attracted interest from Saudi clubs.
Earlier Saudi reports linked Al Nassr with the Brazilian, and Sao Paulo in Brazil has also been mentioned as a potential destination.
Humor break: If Casemiro lands a new job, we’ll finally see him win the “most stamps in a passport” award. And if not, he’ll still be the only midfielder who can pack a suitcase with a football boot and a World Cup dream—talk about multitasking!
