That goal helped the visitors claim the share of the spoils, with Al Ahly maintaining top spot in the group on eight points and staying three points ahead of the Tanzanian side.
The previous leg at Borg El Arab saw Al Ahly win 2-0 thanks to two goals by Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet.
