Pyramids FC officially signed Jordanian Awad Al-Fakhouri, today, coming from Al-Hussein Irbid, during the current winter transfer window.
The Egyptian club confirmed the deal on X, stressing that dreams are made here as Al-Fakhouri joins Pyramids.
In a message, the club welcomed him: From the land of the Al-Nashama to the land of civilization... welcome home.
At 20, Al-Fakhouri operates on the left flank, started at Amman SC before moving to Al-Hussein Irbid, shining this season with 14 appearances, 6 goals and 1 assist so far.
He has earned six caps with Jordan and impressed at the 2025 Arab Cup.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly had pursued the player but talks did not reach an agreement, allowing Pyramids to seal the deal, ultimately.
Punchline: If football contracts were as tight as a goalkeeper's grip, this deal would never slip.
Punchline 2: Hopefully the left wing gets a bit sharper—the defense still thinks lasers exist only in sci-fi movies.
