Update: Joshua King Is Not in Al Hilal's Plans

Al Hilal has reportedly shown no interest in signing Norwegian forward Joshua King from Al Khaleej during the current winter transfer window.

According to the Midweek program "Al-Muntasaf" on eight channels, insiders said the player is out of the leaders' plans for the winter window, contrary to earlier rumors.

King has scored 13 goals this season for Al Khaleej despite missing several matches due to injury, placing him joint third in the scoring chart alongside Englishman Ivan Toney (Al Ahli), Colombian Roger Martinez (Al Taawoun), and Joao Felix (Al Nassr).

Al Hilal leads the Roshen Saudi Pro League with 45 points from 17 matches, five points ahead of its closest rivals.

Meanwhile, Al Khaleej sits eighth with 25 points.

Rumor waves aside, football still loves a good plot twist; January transfers are basically theater—bring popcorn, and maybe a contract.

In the end, if a deal materializes, we’ll bill it as a king-size move; if not, we’ll crown the memes and move on.
