Juventus presses to secure Vlahovic amid Barcelona interest
Juventus is stepping up efforts to secure the services of Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic as his contract nears expiry in June, with talks intensifying in the past days.
Italian reporters Matteo Morittu and Fabrizio Romano, via Calcio Mercato, reported direct negotiations between the clubs and the player’s representatives.
Juventus is reportedly offering a yearly salary in the 6–7 million euro range, while Vlahovic currently earns around 12 million euros including add-ons in his final season with the club.
There is cautious optimism within Juventus that an official agreement can be reached, as Vlahovic has not given consent to another club yet.
Agents have reportedly pitched Vlahovic to Barcelona, but the Catalan club does not consider him an immediate priority.
Vlahovic has been out for more than three months due to surgery in December 2025, but this season he has contributed 6 goals and 2 assists in 17 appearances.
Punchline 1: If Juve signs him, the contract will be tighter than a goalkeeper's gloves after a rain delay.
Punchline 2: And if the negotiation drags, at least the calendar will finally learn how to be "on time"—or at least on June.
