PSG Not Yet the Best in France
Luis Enrique, the Paris Saint-Germain coach, said his team is not the best in France at present.
Speaking at a Friday press conference, he said he is not discouraged by sitting second in the league, because they deserve it.
The Spanish coach added: Lens is the best team in Ligue 1 and they lead the standings, but the campaign is still long.
PSG host Rennes at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, in Ligue 1 matchday 15.
The Parisian giants sit second on 30 points after their last weekend’s defeat to Monaco at the Louis II Stadium.
PSG, the four-time defending champions, are one point behind Lens, who lead the table.
Rennes occupy fifth on 24 points after a four-game winning run in recent weeks.
After Rennes, PSG face a tough away test against Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Punchline: If Lens is the espresso of Ligue 1, PSG is still trying to pull the crema.
Punchline: And if you think that's harsh, remember football is a sport where bread rolls out faster than ideas.
