Big blow for the capital club ahead.

Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic of Al Hilal of Al Hilal suffered an injury before Roshn Saudi League clash with Al Akhdoud.

Hilal will visit Al Akhdoud in the twenty-first round, at the Prince Hamzah bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium, on Thursday for the league.

48 hours before, Al Hilal announced Savic would miss training due to injury today as the team continues preparations ahead.

The Saudi club stated on X that the Serbian midfielder suffered a minor chest contusion and would undergo a treatment session at club clinic.

Training also saw the absence of another player, left-back Metab Alharbi, who joined the club clinic after a muscle cramp in the back of his leg during clasico against Al Ahli.

Alharbi started as right-back in yesterday's match against Al Ahli at the Kingdom Arena, in the twentieth round of the Roshn League, before leaving at halftime to make way for Hamad Al-Yami today.

The clash is pivotal as Hilal chase to regain wins after drawing in straight games: Riyadh 1-1, Al Qadisah 2-2, and Al Ahli 0-0.

Hilal sits atop the Saudi table with 47 points, one ahead of Al Nassr and three clear of Al Ahli in third place overall.
