The remarks came in response to a question about title contenders during a press conference following Benfica's 2-0 win over Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Portuguese coach outlined his view of the title fight: it’s tough. Inter possess a strong squad with immense potential, Napoli are in the mix as well, and Milan benefit from a lighter schedule with just one league match per week. When asked why he used the word “unfortunately” to exclude other clubs, he explained that he would have loved to see Roma among the contenders and that he would have gone to Circus Maximo to celebrate with them, but he doesn’t think that will happen.
