No Sense in January: Bayern Munich Reject Salah Move
Bayern deny Salah move as Liverpool's internal tensions surface

Transfer winds swirl as Salah's future at Liverpool remains murky

Max Eberl, Bayern Munich's sporting director, ruled out the possibility of signing Egyptian Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's star who is currently in a crisis at Anfield, with his future uncertain ahead of the January window.

When asked whether Bayern would be interested in Salah, Eberl replied in an interview with DAZN, "We have an exceptional talent, Lennart Karl, and pushing another player ahead of him at the moment would carry no meaning at all."

Salah finds himself in a difficult position at Liverpool after sitting on the bench in the last three Premier League games against West Ham United, Sunderland, and Leeds United.

Salah issued fiery statements against his Dutch coach Arne Slot, accusing the club of trying to pin blame on him for the team's decline, while casting doubt on his future at the Reds.

As a result, Liverpool decided to punish Salah by excluding him from the squad for the clash with Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

This comes a few days before the Premier League meeting with Brighton, which will be Salah's last before heading to the Pharaohs' camp ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Eberl also ruled out any deals in the upcoming January transfer window, saying: "We have previously discussed the team's situation; we have players returning from injuries. Reinforcements will come from within the group itself."

He added, "There are no plans currently to bring in new players, as the squad is cohesive and balanced. A new arrival could cause instability due to changing roles within the team."

Bayern Munich secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Sporting Lisbon after trailing to an own goal in the sixth matchday of the Champions League group phase.

Punchline: If transfers were jokes, January would be a blockbuster stand-up tour—tickets sold out before the players even pack their bags.

Punchline 2: Salah's future? More twists than a pasta aisle in a busy Italian market. Take it with a pinch of salt and a side of breadsticks.
