PSV Eindhoven Clinches Dutch Title for the Third Consecutive Season
PSV Eindhoven clinched the Eredivisie title for the third straight season and the 27th in club history, thanks to Feyenoord’s goalless draw with Volendam on Sunday.
Under Dutch coach Peter Bos, PSV secured the crown five rounds before the season’s end after a dramatic 4-3 win over Utrecht on Saturday.
PSV’s tally rose to 71 points, while Feyenoord stood on 54 after today’s draw, making a comeback in the remaining five fixtures unlikely.
Bos has led PSV since 2023, delivering the league title in all three seasons at the helm.
PSV also exited the KNVB Cup in the semi-finals, losing 3-2 to Nijmegen.
In the Champions League, PSV failed to progress beyond the group stage, finishing bottom with 8 points (2 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses).
