Ribeiro Takes European Helm at AIK
AIK Stockholm announced on Friday the appointment of Spanish coach Jose Ribeiro as head coach until December 2028.
Ribeiro told the club's site that he is proud and excited to join a club that lives and breathes football, a team with a strong identity, ambitious goals, and a huge passion surrounding it.
The former Al Ahly coach added that he looks forward to starting work and building relationships with players and staff to develop the team day by day, taking the next step on both an individual and collective level.
Ribeiro left Al Ahly after just three months in charge, arriving from South Africa's Orlando Pirates.
