Ronaldo Keeps Fans Guessing Ahead of Saudi Clasico Showdown

Ronaldo's Clasico Dilemma
It seems that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr, remains intent on stirring controversy ahead of the Clasico against arch-rivals Al-Ittihad.
Al-Nassr hosts Al-Ittihad, the day after tomorrow Friday, at Al-Nass Park, in the 21st round of the Roshen Saudi League.
Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadhia reports that Ronaldo has not informed his compatriot Jorge Jesus, the head coach of Al-Nassr, about his stance on featuring in the Clasico so far.
This comes despite Ronaldo taking part in training today, leaving 48 hours until kickoff, and forcing Jesus to plan the match without a surprise decision.
Ronaldo missed his side's last game against Riyadh on Monday, in the 20th round of the Roshen.
Reports say the absence comes from Ronaldo's dissatisfaction with Karim Benzema's move from Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal in the winter mercato, as he believes the 'Leaders' received stronger backing from rivals.
It should be noted that Al-Nassr sit second in the Saudi league with 46 points, one point behind leaders Al-Hilal.
This update keeps fans guessing and the standings tight.
Two punchlines
Punchline: If Ronaldo doesn’t score, at least the drama will score on its own—this is cinema, not a football match.
Punchline 2: Ronaldo’s calendar is busier than the defense—every day a new drill, with extra popcorn on the bench.
