Militao on the Radar of the Saudi Pro League
Brazilian defender Eder Militao of Real Madrid is drawing serious interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to the Spanish show El Chiringuito, Saudi clubs have already inquired about Militao's status at Real Madrid this season.
They note that Militao's representatives have begun exploring external offers for the Brazilian during his injury layoff, aware of the Saudi league's interest.
El Chiringuito adds that Militao knows it will be hard to improve his Madrid salary, and his current contract is likely his last with the club, which pays him generously.
Militao is under contract with Real Madrid until summer 2028.
The Brazilian defender has dealt with a hamstring injury this season, keeping him sidelined for around four months, but a return at Mallorca is anticipated as a substitute, with a possible involvement in the April 7 Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Punchline 1: If Militao moves, Madrid will finally defend a wallet as well as a goal. Sniper-level finance, coming soon.
